Condominium's Public Offering Statement

Under Maryland law, a condominium developer is required to submit to the Office of the Secretary of State a public offering statement which includes a copy of the condominium's proposed declaration, by-laws, rules, and other documents relating to the administration of the condominium. This public offering statement is reviewed by the Office to ensure compliance with the Real Property Article, Title 11 of the Annotated Code of Maryland.

The condominium's declaration, by-laws, and plat are available from the Clerk of the Circuit Court in the county in which the condominium regime is located. Public offering statements are available for inspection at the Office of the Secretary of State.
